High Power Exploration (HPX) has appointed Mr. Henrique Caine as Country Manager for its wholly owned subsidiary, Ivanhoe Liberia Inc., with effect from 1 July 2024.

Reporting to the President and CEO of HPX, Mr. Caine will lead Ivanhoe Liberia, championing the Company’s initiatives to finalise rail and port infrastructure access agreements with the Government of Liberia, overseeing environmental reporting and community liaison for HPX’s operations in Liberia and being the key day-to-day contact for general enquiries in Liberia.

Mr Caine’s extensive experience in managing people, projects and processes, will be a great addition to HPX, given his background in working in Liberia, Nigeria and the United States.

Outside of his professional endeavours, Mr. Caine is active with human service organizations, volunteering in highly impactful activities for Liberia. His significant contributions range from serving as a volunteer through the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, in support of raising community and disease prevention awareness during the 2014 Ebola crisis in Liberia, and as a key member of the professional Support Staff of volunteers to the Presidentially appointed Liberian National Response Coordinator for COVID-19.

Mr. Caine is a graduate of New York University, with a Master’s in Public Administration and earned a Bachelors from Canisius College (now Canisius University) in Buffalo, New York.

Mr. Caine is warmly welcomed into the HPX and Ivanhoe Liberia family as the Company progresses towards the development of its ultra-high grade, long life iron ore projects in Guinea and in Liberia.
